Hey there guys.

I hope that life with you all is fantastic! Life here is really good. Here is an update:

I just got back from Cleveland, TN Sunday night. I spent the weekend with my boyfriend (Tanner) and his family hanging out in the country at church, bonfires, watching UT football, sleeping in, and walking around barefoot on country roads and city parks :) I love the country sometimes. It's just filled with the peace that you can only get in the hills. But this is just a tangent of life that makes my heart happy.

Life here at Milly is full. Twirp week went well. We all went out, dressed up and had way too much fun doing not enough homework :) but such is life and sometimes people just need a break and so we take the ones that present themselves. This week has a lot of homework in store for me. It's college:) it happens. Mostly I have to do some reading for humanities and my Intro to Leadership Class before Tues. and Weds. So it isnt anything too stressful.

Tonight I get to go to my first Milly small group meeting for the semester. I am in Steffani Taylor's group (for those of you that do not know.. she is an admissions counselor here at Milligan- she may even be yours :) We are talking about justice in a broken world. So we are all meeting up at her house in about an hour and I am really excited about that.

Hum... what else is going on here?

Today was the LINK Poster Sale. I bought a picture of Darla from the Little Rascals.

I'm designing our Fanatics T-shirts right now (that is school spirit on campus) and I'm really excited about getting those done. And we have another soccer game this Satuday, a volleyball game Thursday and another one on satuday and other meetings and randomness along the way.

Outside of normal classes I am really enjoying meeting and getting to know our new freshmen. They are great. and ....

I have to go now b/c I need to take a shower before small group tonight.

it is the beginning of a new year.

yeah!

life here at Milligan is going pretty well... it's busy as always...

this week we have TWIRP week.... sponsored by SGA (student gov) ... it's basically a week long version of Sadie Hawkins..

monday was FreshFest where there was music, cotton candy, corn hole, popcorn and loads of people and fun

tuesday (today) was the SplashDown where there was a slip and slide, music, smores and games

wednesday (tomorrow) is Bowling night

thursday is "when in greece" where there will be togas and the movie "troy" will be played

and friday is Laser Tag in the gym.

saturday there will be a men's soccer game against covenant at 4pm and it should be a pretty good game due to some intense rivaly.

all this to say there is a lot going on here and I am loving every minute of it.

I hope that you all are doing well but mostly I just wanted to say HI and let you all know what was going on here at Milly... hope you are doing well and if you need anything or have any random questions feel free to let me know.

long time no see... well.. that is you haven't seen any new words:) sorry about that guys. life has gotten pretty busy around here.

The Humanities Creative arts projects and presentations are finished. i did complete mine :) yeah for that.

connections weekend went great as well. it was really nice to meet some of our prospective students and get to know them better before they come here in the fall. Jo-jo, Mel, Heather, and  Danielle... yeah you know that i love you. all.

we had a great time. some of the girls stayed with me and we got to do lots of crazy fun things like go to Pal's for thier 32 oz 95cents sweet teas. we watched august rush, went to vespers, experienced the Sub 7 Coffee house, and even scheduled some classes together lol it was way too much fun.

for those of you that didnt make it this april i look forward to meeting you in June... b/c i will be here then as well.

anyhow that is about all for me for now... i have work and school work and friends and fun to deal with today and my phone is wigging out so i should probably fix that as well.
